HEAD OF OPERATIONAL PROCUREMENT

who is an experienced leader with a strong background in operational procurement, thriving on optimizing processes, driving results, and empowering teams to reach their full potential.

As a key player in the company's growth journey, You will:

  • Manage a regional procurement team, supporting team members to allow them delivering their role to expected standards, including performance management, coaching team members, and identifying development needs.

  • Maximize stock availability to agreed targets, supporting the business’s sales objectives.

  • Responsible for regional stock efficiency including working practices.

  • Provide working capital/inventory forecasts and manage working capital/inventory to meet

    financial target.

  • Set and control existing procurement processes and the evolution of effective usage of internal systems and working practices across the region.

  • Control stock levels across the region by setting up operational tasks to keep on acceptable level and manage changes when needed.

  • Interaction with multiple segments with different requirements, environments and demands.

  • Further develop S&OP process in the region based on existing elements and best practices within the company.

  • Lead monthly S&OP activities in the region/country/sectors.

    To be successful in this role, your professional background should cover:

  • Managerial Experience: At least 5 years of managerial experience in operational procurement with a proven track record of successfully leading operational procurement teams and multi-country operations.

  • Educational Background: Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field, providing a solid foundation for effective procurement and supply chain management.

  • Knowledge of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes within an international trading company, particularly in organizations with diverse business sectors and product segments.

  • Fluent in English and Latvian, both written and spoken, with the ability to confidently conduct business communication on a daily professional level.

  • Advanced skills in Excel, along with solid proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems and inventory optimization systems is an advantage.

COMPANY OFFERS

  • Remuneration: starting from €54,000 yearly gross (max salary level will be discussed individually

    with company representatives) and annual bonus (based on company performance and bonus

    guidelines).

  • Working place & mode: Office in Riga, with business trips (20–30 days of travel per year, depending

    on business needs).
